The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office arrested three women Wednesday afternoon after they allegedly tried to use altered gift cards that were linked to credit card accounts at a Walmart in unincorporated Glen Ellyn.

Police took into custody:

• Roshanda Frazier, 23, of Chicago. She has been charged with possession of an altered credit card, obstruction identification and unlawful use of a weapon.
• Nateia Hill, 21, of Chicago and Tiffany Jones, 27, of Chicago. Both are charged with possession of an altered credit card.

The sheriff’s office received a report late Wednesday afternoon regarding fraudulent credit cards being used at the Walmart located in unincorporated Glen Ellyn, according to a DuPage County Sheriff’s Office press release.

It is alleged that the three suspects tried to make purchases using altered gift cards that are linked to unknown victim’s credit accounts. Sheriff’s detectives responded to investigate the incident and the suspects were taken into custody.

Frazier and Jones are both being held on a $20,000 bond and Hill is being held on a $10,000 bond.
