24 year old Drunken Idiot Kyle W. Kirchhoff falls from catwalk at Aragon Ballroom watching the Chevelle concert landing on two pieces of sharp metal that pierced his body

A 24-year-old northwest suburban man died after falling from a catwalk Friday evening at the Aragon Ballroom on the North Side, authorities said.

Police said Kyle W. Kirchhoff fell onto two pieces of metal protruding from the area where he fell around 10:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Lawrence Avenue.

Kirchoff was with two friends for the Chevelle concert on Friday night, a source said. They were on the second-floor balcony when the trio decided to wander through a door on that floor.
