More Black Violence at a Shopping Mall - Eastland Mall closed after a shooting forced a lockdown Sunday afternoon

HARPER WOODS, Michigan - Eastland Center, better known as Eastland Mall, is closed after a shooting forced the mall to lock down early Sunday afternoon.

Harper Woods police say no one was injured in the shooting, which happened just before 12 p.m. According to police, the shooting appears to have started with an altercation between three guys near the Target store.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a black male in his early 20s, wearing a black shirt and short pants. They say he escaped in a grey Range Rover, driven by a female wearing a yellow top.

The mall is located on 8 Mile between Beaconsfield and Kelly. There are over 100 stores inside, with major stores including Burlington, Target and Macy's.
