Chicago Cops Release Photo of Hit and Run Car that Killed Maria Gonzalez, age 5,

Chicago police Tuesday released a new surveillance photo of a car that that struck and killed a 5-year-old girl May 23 on the Southwest Side, then drove off.

The dark-colored sedan was in the 5900 block of South Mozart Avenue in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood when it struck the girl around 3:15 p.m., according to police alert issued by the Major Accident Investigation Unit.  The girl was identified as Maria Gonzalez, who lived in the same block where she was killed.
