Three men were arrested at the Apple Store in Naperville on the afternoon of May 21 and charged with identity theft and possession of fake ID cards, police said.
Apprehended in the 100 block of West Jefferson Street on May 21 were Pedro Bonilla, 34, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Brandon Alvarez, 23, of Far Rockaway, N.Y.; and Richie D. Bengochea, 26, of Brooklyn, N.Y.
According to Naperville Police Sgt. William Davis, officers responded to a call about 4:35 p.m. regarding a fraud in progress at the Apple Store. Reports indicate Bonilla and Alvarez were allegedly inside the store attempting to purchase iPhone 6s using fake ID cards.
