CHICAGO - 5 year old colored boy eaten alive by pit bull - mob kills dog with knives and stones - WHAT? Not one black person had a gun? Very weird!

A dog killed a boy in the Brainerd neighborhood Monday night, according to police.

The 5-year-old was mauled in the 8900 block of South Carpenter Street about 9:35 p.m., authorities said.

A neighbor used a brick to kill the dog. The boy was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn but later pronounced dead.

No one is in custody and no citations have been issued. Area South detectives are investigating.
