‘Nigger House?'
As first reported by the Washington Post Tuesday, anyone surfing Google Maps who types in the racist slur ‘Nigger house’ will automatically be directed to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, more commonly known as The White House.
‘Some inappropriate results are surfacing in Google Maps that should not be and we apologize for any offense this may have caused,’ a Google spokeswoman said. But, as of Wednesday morning the 'glitch' was still occurring.
