Emily Beazley, the 12-year-old girl whose courageous fight against cancer inspired Chicago, has passed.

For months now, the neighborhood's colors have been purple and green, on ribbons, and purple and green lights outside neighbor's homes, on businesses, shops and taverns, all purple and green, the colors calling awareness to lymphoma of all types, the colors for Emily.
