At least 9 injured in Chicago black violence shootings on a TUESDAY

At  least nine people have been injured in shootings across the city since Tuesday afternoon, including an attack within a block of where three people were shot, one of them fatally, early Monday, police said.

A 59-year-old woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting Tuesday evening in the Ashburn neighborhood.

About 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, the woman was in a vehicle in the 3600 block of West 85th Place when someone inside a passing SUV fired shots, police said.
